Jennifer McAndrew was raised in Beaverbrook, bought her first house in Glen Cairn, started a business in her garage in Morgan’s Grant and now lives in Carp with her husband Scott and their two children.
Jennifer is passionate about contributing to the strong and vibrant community that makes Kanata-Carleton a wonderful place. She has worked on numerous fund-raising campaigns including minor hockey, fine arts and the Kanata Food Bank. Jennifer is a faculty member at the West Carleton School of Performing Arts and is a board member with the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre. She is also the past-chair of the Canadian Advisory Council for Meeting Professionals International.
After earning her MBA in 2007 Jennifer and her husband started their business. By 2020 they had grown the business to a full-time enterprise employing 17 local employees with an office and warehouse in Carp.
In 2015, in recognition of her business and community efforts, she was a recipient of the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce/Ottawa Business Journal 40 Under 40 award.
Jennifer experienced firsthand the lack of support for small business in the Liberal government’s response to the pandemic. Like many Canadians she has concerns that the Liberal government is not capable of leading us out of the post pandemic financial crisis.
Jennifer will use her experience and skills to add to an already strong Conservative team led by Erin O’Toole. Together they will bring a strong stable government with a plan to “Secure the Future” for Kanata-Carleton and Canada.
Secure the future, help elect Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives and get Canada’s economy back on track.
